David Hardware

David Hardware is a British author, professional actor, former military chef and independent game developer. His work spans books, games, film, media and the continuing development of Quatermain Official. As an actor, David portrayed Allan Quatermain, a role that helped shape many of the themes of exploration, mystery and adventure found throughout his later creative work. His interests include acting, symbolism, ciphers, artifact prop-making and the ideas and history of exploration. Following military service as a chef, David worked in the film and television industry, including location catering on major productions such as *Eyes Wide Shut*. His career later expanded into film production and studio development, leading to the creation of 369 Film Studios Leicester, a creative space used for film, photography and media projects. Alongside his work in film and media, David became an author and game creator. His published works include *I Am David*, *Quatermain's Quatrains* and the *After Dark Minis* series, with additional books and projects currently in development. David is the creator of *Silly Sentences*, a family-friendly word game that combines creativity, humour and strategy, and the founder of Quatermain Official, a growing hub for books, games, artifacts and creative projects. Through Quatermain Official, David continues to develop new books, games and creative ventures inspired by storytelling, exploration and curiosity.
