Quatermain's Journal
Legends speak of dragons as though they vanished long ago. I have learned that legends rarely disappear. They simply become quieter.
I discovered this remarkable heart while following a trail that had already become little more than rumour. Whether it belonged to creature, myth or misunderstanding is a question I have never been able to answer with certainty.
What caught my attention was not its colour, but the way light seemed to gather within it before slowly fading away again, almost as though it possessed a memory of warmth.
Some discoveries ask to be explained. Others ask only to be remembered.
The Mystery
Throughout history, stories have spoken of dragons, beasts and creatures whose remains were said to possess unusual properties. Whether those tales were born from misunderstood fossils, forgotten animals or something stranger is impossible to prove. The Dragon's Blood Heart stands as a tribute to those enduring legends and to humanity's fascination with the impossible.

Quatermain Field Observation
Every archive requires a few objects that refuse to apologise for being mythical. Whether viewed as an artist's creation or the fragment of an impossible creature, the Dragon's Blood Heart serves the same purpose. It reminds us that imagination has always walked beside discovery.
