Gravitate is an original multiplayer strategy game played across a stepped pyramid. Each player controls their own dice, choosing when to climb, retreat, attack or seek safety. The objective is simple to understand but difficult to achieve: outmanoeuvre every opponent and become the last dice standing.
The pyramid creates a board where position matters. Players move across its levels while protecting their own dice and attempting to weaken or eliminate those controlled by their opponents.
Movement is not restricted to a single route. A player may advance toward the centre, move across a level, retreat toward safety or change direction when the board permits. Every decision carries risk. Climbing may create opportunity, but it can also leave a die exposed.
The pyramid view can be toggled between its raised and collapsed forms. This allows the structure to appear or disappear while preserving the underlying playing positions.
Gravitate supports multiplayer competition and includes three playing levels. Each level changes the available space and tactical pressure, allowing players to choose the scale of the contest.
The current development build contains the working board, player dice, turn system, cards, timer and pyramid controls. Visual development continues while the underlying game is refined.
The intended final presentation places the playing pyramid within a realistic desert environment, blending carved stone, sand and ancient atmosphere into a single coherent game world.
Gravitate is being developed as part of the Quatermain game collection. The present focus is bringing the working digital board closer to the approved desert appearance while retaining clear movement, readable playing spaces and reliable multiplayer gameplay.
The game has already moved beyond a simple concept page. A functioning development build exists, the central mechanics are established, and the remaining work concerns visual refinement, balancing and the final player experience.
As development continues, rules, presentation and individual features may be adjusted where play reveals a better solution.
Gravitate was created by David Hardware as an original game of position, pressure and survival. Its central idea is that progress toward the summit should never be entirely safe. The higher a player rises, the more visible—and vulnerable—their decisions become.
Victory does not belong simply to the highest die. It belongs to the player who understands when to rise, when to retreat and when to bring an opponent down.
